Students from Garo Hills are raising the bar on the importance of debates and discussions, taking on challenging global issues, as was evident during this year's second edition of the Garo Hills Model United Nations Conference that took place from 20th to 22nd June, at Loyola College, Williamnagar, under the theme Advocacy, Posterity and Reconciliation.

The Loyola College in Williamnagar is in jubilation as its 9th batch of degree students have excelled in their academic performance, bagging 16 ranks in different honours the college offers in the recently declared NEHU examination results 2023.
The much-awaited Book Fair at Loyola College, in collaboration with Eastern Publishing House, commenced with great enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by Smt. R.N. Sangma, Additional Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills in the presence of Mr. Rajib K. Marak, Principal of Govt. College, Williamnagar, and Dr. Fr. Philip Abraham SJ, the Principal of Loyola College. The books were tastefully showcased in a spacious hall, promising a delightful reading experience for visitors.
The farewell ceremony was a poignant and memorable occasion, celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of Loyola College under the leadership of Fr. Sunny Augustine S.J.
